Sierra did a great job on over 600' of custom fencing for us. We are really happy with it and have received a lot of complements on the project. One of best parts of working with Richard was that he gave us a lot of options and suggestions that resulted in a better looking project than we had originally planned. I recommend you give them a try.

Sierra Fence did a great job replacing our back fence with a steel frame & welded cattle panel installation. Every aspect of the process was easy, from proposal to completion of work. We had a large part of back yard fully fenced to provide a safe area for our new rescue border collie Piper to run free and allow us to BBQ and play in the yard without the worry of the Piper running away after a squirrel!Frank was the designer and he very quickly understood what we were going for and the sort of design we wanted. We had a horizontal fence installed, as well as a vehicle gate into the back yard. Our lot has a severe left-to-right slope, but Frank was able to see my vision, and Jorge had the expertise to make it happen. We are so pleased with the final product and quality of workmanship. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was bc of the cleanup afterwards.
Richard was great to work with. Competitively priced but, more importantly, accessible and easy to communicate with regarding the inevitable questions that come up in backyard projects. We expanded our fence out and it matches beautifully with the old fence. install was great and they did not damage any property in the process.
Frank, Samuel, and the crew built us 260 feet of a six foot horizontal cedar board fence with a cap and two gates (a single and a double). They completed the job in three days. It is beautiful!!! This is such a professional team -- they showed up on time, worked steadily and hard for long days, and showed such professional expertise, it was stunning. The technique for building the gates so they are secure was totally cool to watch. We worked hard to be sure that we had cleared the area around the old fence. and when we encountered a few unanticipated adjustments, they responded quickly and gave us time to work out solutions that worked for everyone. When they left, the whole site was beautiful, with all leftover parts and pieces cleaned up perfectly. We were very impressed. Our immediate neighbors hired them to build their front fences and others are all planning to hire Sierra Fence to build their privacy fences as well. Frank was also professional and informative and always quick to respond to questions and offer sound advice.

Richard's work is superb! This guy cares about his companies reputation for doing great work. I dealt with 4 companies... Sierra, Patriot, Austin Bros., and Viking. After getting all 4 quotes I felt most comfortable with Sierra Fence. Richard was the first guy to come out and spent the most time with me, answering all my questions. He had great design ideas that helped me out quite a bit. He actually took me for a ride in his truck to show me some of the jobs he'd done. First; I would like to say, we called numerous companies and none of them would travel out to Dale, TX to give us a quote. They quoted over the phone by the measurements my husband had (which were not correct) and had no idea the scope of the job. Richard was the only one that came out to take measurements and walk the job. When Richard showed up to measure and see what the job entailed, I knew that I wanted to work with him. He was very friendly, honest and professional. He explained our options in detail and had quotes to us within the time he stated. Needless to say, we were impressed!

So we recently moved to Austin Tx and bought a house with a couple of Acres of land. This was shortly followed by my wife deciding to rescue a German Shepard from a local charity. Even quicker was the realization we needed a fence and quick to contain her due to her strong desire to wonder and chase the deer. I had never really undertaken a project so large and decided to do my homework thoroughly by getting quotes from several vendors in the area.
Initially I was really disappointed as I had a survey map of the property and wanted to fence in all but the front garden. EVERY single vendor came and tried to spin their wheel over the dead tree’s in the garden getting wildly different measurements. Richard was the first one to look at the map and realize he could measure the front garden and deduct that from the survey reading. Such a simple idea but it really showed me he was on his A game.
Next, we walked up to the back of the garden to find the corner markers. I knew where one was but couldn’t find the other. Richard looked at the map, paced out the approximate distance (again over dead tree’s) and stopped within 2 ft of the marker that was hidden. This man clearly knew what he was doing.
As the bids came in I was really set on going with Richard but was worried his price would be too high as he has been the most professional of all who quoted. This was not the case and he was able to offer a very competitive price which we agreed to move forward with.
We had a ton of dead tree’s needing clearing and Richard put us in contact with another company to get a quote. In the end we decided to tackle this ourselves as it was the perfect excuse to buy a new chainsaw! Richard was very understanding that this would take us longer and put absolutely zero pressure on trying to move us along to get the job started it was all on our pace.
We finally had the garden cleared and scheduled a date for Richards crew to come out and start work. His team were here on time and got to work immediately drawing a string line along where we would be placing the fence. I was offered to come and inspect it and agree I was happy with it. They then began to dig the post holes in the rock. It really is solid rock in the garden and it didnt deter these guys. They were able to dig and set the posts for 1150ft of fence in 2 days which was incredible.
We then switched things up on Richard and asked for an additional vegetable garden fence to be laid which was absolutly no issue to him. One thing that really impressed me was that when they were doing the fence there was a mistake made where one post was set slightly too far from the next (talking cm’s) and they could have put an extension on the panel and took the easy way but instead they dug out the old post, moved the hole, set a new post and got it perfect.
The team was fantastic and so polite and courteous. Our rescue dog is extremely fearful of men and we suspect she has had a bad past with them but Richards team were so accommodating and gave her space.
We are now in a position where we have an amazing fence that goes over some crazy terrain and they done a fantastic job. Our dog is now contained and can spend her hours roaming the garden and enjoying the sunshine. I really couldn’t recommend Richard enough and wanted to leave this review as token of my appreciation and let others know how great he is. If you are sitting on the fence (pun intended) about choosing Sierra Fence you will honestly not be disappointed in the slightest at the quality of service and product you will get.

Sierra fence installed 220 ft of Ameristar 5ft Montage Majestic 3-rail bronze fence around our newly constructed pool at our new home in Belvedere. It looks great and we couldn’t be happier with Richard and his crew. Richard came to our house several times to determine initial layout and to update measurements/schedule, and was with his crew both days of installation. They did an excellent job. We would highly recommend Sierra Fence for their quality service, products and installation.

Richard and crew did a great job from start to finish, and I would absolutely recommend their company. Richard took the time to come out multiple times initially for guidance on the fence layout, and once it came time for install, the job was completed quickly and at a cost that was less than we anticipated. Nowadays, it seems so difficult to find companies you can rely on to get a job done. Sierra Fence is certainly one you can.
